Craig Brown

Craig Brown (1970-) was born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, to British immigrant parents, who fell in love with the country and each other and blew the opportunity to travel back to the UK for free when they met and got married. He writes when the muse takes him, but she's been on holiday for some time now, and he suspects she'll return nearer his retirement. He has always wanted to say he has houses in London, New York and New Zealand, but can't. He lives in Newbury, UK (which all things being equal, is a pretty nice place to live, especially considering that his lovely wife Alex and their two children live there too; happily, in the same house). He hasn't won any awards for writing, but did win a colouring in competition when he was 8 years old. "Together Again: A momentary memoir" is his first published work and as uplifting as it is, he thinks it might make you cry.
