Hi Everyone,

I am pleased to finally have my book here at Author Central on Amazon. It's been a long process. First of all, I never wanted to write. After an English teacher from hell in high school, when I actually did very well but hated doing it, I decided writing wasn't for me and majored in biology for two years, got married and majored in children for thirty years, returned to school and became a mental health counselor and expressive arts therapist for twenty-some years, and expressed my creative side with painting, sculpture, serigraph and intaglio printing, and ceramics. I settled into watercolor, oil, acrylic, and mixed media/collage as my forms of expression. Check out my website for all things creative that I do at www.judithkerriganribbens.com.

I came to writing because, as a counselor, I'd heard and seen too many abused children and was having secondary post traumatic stress nightmares. Well, I knew what to do about that! I painted. When that didn't do it, I decided to wade into the nightmares and create something suitably frightening in writing, a murder mystery. It worked! It never works to run from the unpleasant, at least for me.

Here is my first murder mystery. Writing proved to be fun at last, and wonderfully creative, inventive, even magical. I began this over two years ago at age 74. It's never too late!
