Mariliza Lacap

Dr. LaCap is the Co-Founder of Washington Dental Associates along with her husband, Dr. Tong. Washington Dental Associates is located in Bergenfield, NJ 19 Legion Drive. They reside in Old Tappan, NJ with their five children.

This husband-wife duo has created an exceptional dental experience for their patients earning their practice the reputation of being the “Mercedes Benz” of dentistry within their community. Washington Dental Associates, located in Bergenfield, NJ is a unique dental office where patients feel comfortable, well taken care of and safe.

Dr. Mariliza LaCap received her D.D.S. degree from Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery through an academic scholarship where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. She also received extra training in cosmetic dentistry at New York University Dental School.

She completed her residency at Englewood Hospital. She has also received advanced training in Dental implants, Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontics, Full-Face Orthodontics, Invisalign™, Endodontics, Gum Disease, Patient Management, and Restoration.


Her professional affiliations and awards include memberships with American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Bergen County Dental Society. Dr. LaCap received the Excellence in Orthodontic Award from American Association of Orthodontics and the Excellence in Periodontics Award from Northeastern Society of Periodontists.
