Brian Derek Morley is a consultant botanist and author who was for twenty years Director of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium of South Australia. He was previously the inaugural Horticultural Botanist of the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, in Dublin and before that, freelance author with George Rainbird Reference Books in London.
Having studied in Europe, North America and the West Indies and also Indonesia, China and Japan, he now has garden related responsibilities in Scotland, Australia and the Azores.
He is currently working on additional material for his Proust studies together with unrelated biographical projects.
