Robert Quakenbush

THE GIPPER'S GHOST was written by Robert Quakenbush (pronounced QUAKE - n - bush). First published in print in 1985, THE GIPPER'S GHOST is available as an eBook in the Amazon Kindle Store.

Bob graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1976. As an undergraduate, he polished his writing skills as a reporter for the student newspaper, The Observer, and as sports editor of the Notre Dame's 1975 yearbook, The Dome.

He spent 25 years in Chicago as a public relations professional. Despite what he himself calls "the highly questionable theology" he presented in THE GIPPER'S GHOST, at one time he handled media relations for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. Later, Bob engaged in marketing communications activities in support of fundraising efforts for educational institutions, including Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana, and his alma mater, the University of Notre Dame.

Born in Muncie, Indiana, Bob was raised in the northwest suburbs of Detroit, where he attended and graduated from Our Lady Queen of Martyrs grade school and Brother Rice High School.

Today, Bob lives in Cary, North Carolina.
