Laura Candler

Laura Candler is a former classroom teacher who taught elementary school for 30 years. She lives in Fayetteville, NC with her husband and two daughters. Laura is the creator of the Teaching Resources website at www.lauracandler.com and the author of dozens of books and ebooks for educators. She loves writing books for teachers that offer step-by-step directions and ready-to-use printables. Her lessons keep kids actively engaged with hands-on activities and cooperative learning strategies. Laura is the current president of the NC Association of Elementary Educators and a 1999 Milken Family Foundation Awardee.
