Hi. My name is Tasha and I’m a story addict.

It all started so innocently, as it often does; a sentence here, a paragraph there. Soon I was satisfying my curiosity with the ‘harder’ stuff with increasing frequency. Charles Dickens, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Poe. But those weren’t the only ones. M. Lackey, L. Modesditt, Mongomery, O.S. Card, and R.A. Salvatore were repeat hits.

…and I’d surrounded myself with other users. At first, it was just a book swap or two, passed on by friends I could always count on for a good fix. By that time my ‘brain candy’ was a daily fix, if not multiple times a day. L-- and C--- (names truncated for their protection) were my go-to girls. They always knew where the good stuff was. About that time I became a dealer. I looked around and realized my piles were growing and it wasn’t just from the library or friends. Even more dangerous, I’d started to gift books based on other’s reading preferences.

I suppose the writing lab was a natural progression. Small little snippets; sometimes request, sometimes for pure enjoyment evolved into chapters and short stories. I knew there was no going back after the publication.
