Mark L Groves

Mark L. Groves grew up in the Ozark Mountains of southern Missouri, where his love of trees and sky and things that go bump in the night began. He earned a degree in Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and went on to a career spanning two-plus decades of radio production. He has thousands of commercials and promotional scripts to his credit, including a three year stint writing edutainment and radio theatre pieces while Production Director for Radio Disney's first three years of national broadcast. Radio brought him to Kansas City in 2001, where he’s had fiction published in “Strange, Weird, and Wonderful” magazine, in “Kansas City Voice” digest, and has had several plays produced. Mark’s a member of the Horror Writers Association and the Missouri Writers Guild. He loves cheesy horror movies, oatmeal cookies, roadside kitsch, and most of all his wonderful family.
