Helen Kanevsky

A biochemist by education, I came to the United States in my late 40's following my husband and learned English from scratch at MiraCosta College in California. That’s where I started to write poetry in 2000. Since that time, I have published seven books of poems. My poems appeared in some magazines. The last one was published in the Poem magazine in 2023.
