Billy C. Wirtz

Billy C. Wirtz(1954-),or Rev. Billy, as he is known to his fans,

is a third generation author and musician.

He is the son of Ted and Claudine Wirths,and the brother of David Wirths.

Wirtz has spent the better part of the last thirty years "on the road," performing his own unique brand of music and humor.

Beginning in 1988,with "Deep Fried and Sanctified," he recorded a dozen albums, for Hightone Records and Blind Pig Records.

Along with the music, he has also developed full-time careers in other media.

After three long decades in a constant state of flux, The Rev. has settled down, in his current home of Cocoa Beach, Florida, to a comfortable weekly routine that allows him time to pursue his interests:

Rev. Billy and The Profitz, play every Wednesday and Thursday night at Heidi's Jazz Club in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

"Red Headed Geek," the story of Wirtz' "brief and painful career" as a professional wrestling manager, was released in Fall of 2012 by Holy Macro! books. A collection of his past "Slipped Discs" columns, travel articles,and road stories, is scheduled for release in Fall of 2013.

In his spare time, The Rev. enjoys thrift shopping, Film Noir, and Bungee jumping.
