A.J. Lape writes crime and mystery fiction packed with twists, trouble, and just enough sarcasm to survive both. From gripping teen mysteries to pulse-pounding crime thrillers, her stories feature smart-mouthed heroines, complicated antiheroes, and the kind of secrets that refuse to stay buried.

A graduate of Morehead State University with a master's degree in Communications, A.J. is a freelance reporter, PI wannabe, and lifelong mystery addict.

She lives in Cincinnati with her husband, two daughters who occasionally stop by for cash, and two Boston Terriers who have done their best to destroy what's left of her sanity.
