A.J. Lape writes crime and mystery fiction where danger lurks around every corner and laughter is never in short supply. From gripping teen mysteries to heart-pounding crime thrillers, her stories feature unstoppable she-roes, flawed anti-heroes, and characters flirting with the road to redemption.

She lives in Cincinnati with her husband, two daughters who occasionally stop by for cash, and two spoiled Boston Terriers. A graduate of Morehead State University with a master’s degree in Communications, A.J. is a freelance reporter, PI wannabe, and dedicated cold-brew enthusiast.

When she’s not writing, she can be found connecting with readers online, double-tapping animal videos, or binge-watching food content she sometimes successfully recreates in her kitchen.
