DiVoran Lites

My name is DiVoran Lites. I am the author of the Florida Springs Trilogy. All three books: Sacred Spring, Living Spring, and Clear Spring are now available at Kindle and on Amazon in print. Each book has its own complete cast of characters and story, but as you read them, you will find the people are a community of family and friends who have known and loved each other for many years. You will watch conflicts,common to man, played out in the characters' lives. You'll read such vivid descriptions of the fabulous Florida Springs that, according to reviewers, you will feel as if you've visited them yourself.

I'm told that even as a toddler I loved books and carried them around. Reading has been a passion ever since. It didn't take long to discover that the best enhancement for reading was writing. I started writing the story of my life in a back booth in my parents'restaurant in a mountain valley in Colorado. Dad said that since I was only seven years old, it would be a short story. I didn't understand the humor at the time. Since then writing has been my calling, and life and love have been my learning labs.

I am married to Bill, an areonautical engineer. We have two children and two granchildren. The way God works with people, and the creations he has given us to enjoy are my favorite subjects.

Mel Nicolaides is the oldest of five children. At 18, she feels it is time to move forward with her life and she takes a job at a Florida spring illustrating a soon to be published book on Seminole Indian medicine and culinary herbs. Her work involves many trips into the deep woods surrounding the cabins where she and the author, Walking Woman are staying. A shocking discovery in the woods leads Mel to question her own self worth. Complicating her life further are two men from her past, each pulling her in different directions

The story and the author’s ability to draw the reader into each scene make this an enjoyable read. Even though evil actions are a strong part of the story, it is a still an upbeat read and the message of faith shines through it. Clear Spring is the final book in the Florida Springs Trilogy and to me it is the best yet.
