Mary Ellen Gavin

Mary Ellen Gavin was born in the Lakeview area of Chicago now called Wrigleyville, but has lived around the country. She is a romantic who loves meeting new people and listening to their stories. Having taught Creative Writing to adults, she edits book & film manuscripts. Once a year, Mary Ellen joins the literary judges at www.indiebookawards.com to read and give praise to the authors and their new books entered into the annual contest. Tapped by ABC Productions to be on their Advisory Panel, she gives her perception of new programs and opinions on current programing. Her short stories can be found in any of the Anthologies published by The Writers of Chantilly.
