Denise Buckley

I was born in Dukinfield, Cheshire UK, and now live in the English Lake District.

I've been writing for a number of years, and won competitions for poetry and short stories, but then decided to write my first novel: 'Yesterday's Tomorrows: The Dark Secret.'

I realised how enjoyable it was researching the history, so I wrote a follow on with 'Heroes Don't Cry' the year after.

My third one is now published: 'The White Dress.'
