Ken Hinkley

Pastor Ken Hinkley was ordained in 2003 as a ministerand has served as pastor of the Carthage Union Church, Carthage, ME since 2007. He has also pastored the Dixfield (ME) Common Baptist Church since 2003. This joint venture has proven challenging as well as rewarding.

He enjoys writing as a creative outlet of his thoughts on many subjects. He has written many poems, short skits and essays. Once a month he writes an article that is posted on the church(s) web site(s) www.carthageunionchurch.org or www.dixfieldcommonbaptist.org on varying topics. Currently he is finalizing the manuscript of a book on marriage, comparing the union of a man and a woman to that of a Christian and the church. Other works are also in various stages of completion.

He and his wife Linda live in Dixfield and have three grown children and three grandchildren, with a fourth expected early next year.
