Erin Moran McCormick is an entrepreneur, innovation change agent and award-winning designer. She has spent her career turning ideas into action. McCormick founded three companies. Her latest venture, Year of Action U, is an online grad school to help women take action and get results in business and life - a Girlfriend MBA.
She earned her degree in art and psychology from Smith College and has been an Executive Producer, CIO and CEO in technology, publishing and education. At age 25 she quit her job, bought a one-way ticket to Europe and started living her Year of Action. In 2011, she quit her job on her 50th birthday to live her second Year of Action.
Some little known facts about McCormick: she can parallel park in the tiniest of spaces, snuck into the 1986 Red Sox World Series and is currently working on getting in shape and getting back in her wedding dress. She has been writing for 25 years and started blogging in 2009, the morning after her cancer surgery. People kept asking her when she was going to write a book and she decided to finally publish some of her stories. She lives in Medfield, MA with her husband and two children.
