Mark Steven Hess

Mark Hess is the States Representative on the National Association for Gifted Children Board of Directors, Past President of the Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented, and a Gifted Resource Teacher in Colorado Springs. As a member of the Board of Directors for Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG), Mark was the Senior Associate Editor of the SENG Library. As Portable Gifted and Talented, Mark is pleased to have provided more than 55,000 free resources to teachers and parents around the world. His three social-emotional curriculum programs for gifted learners are available from Prufrock Press, and a Math Projects Collection for gifted learners, grades 4 and 5, was released in the spring of 2022. Most recently, Mark has published three methods books connecting nonverbally expressed brilliance to English, Language Arts--the Hands-on Literacy Series with Prufrock Press. His book, I Used to Be Gifted is a parent and teacher favorite, available at Gifted Unlimited.
