Val McCall

Hi, I´m Val, an artist currently living on the island of Ibiza.

Before I found a home in Spain, I was a nomad. I travelled the world for years, and lived in many countries.

Besides drawing and painting, I love doing pottery and organic gardening.

My family and I are constantly looking for ways to grow anything from trees, flowers and veggies in arid conditions. Water can be scarce here, especially in summer. We feel it´s important to use our natural resources wisely to keep our island healthy and beautiful.

Teaching and learning languages has always been part of my life; and another passion of mine. I tend to be fluent in 4 languages, and can understand 3 more, but this fluctuates depending on the state of my brain.

Academically, I have a BA in Communication from Seattle-Pacific University, and a Diploma in Graphic Design & Illustration from Art Neo, Madrid.

Youtbe tutorials are resources I value greatly, as they have taught me to chat with animals, sing in overtone and cut my own hair.
