Sara Y. Aharon

Sara Aharon is a writer and speaker who's passionate about the theme of resilience. She loves to explore how resilience and perseverance develop among communities and individuals across their lifespans. She is the author of 'From Kabul to Queens: The Jews of Afghanistan and Their Move to the United States' (Decalogue Books, non-fiction). She is also the author of a children's picture book, "One Step at a Time!" about empowering bravery and resilience in children as they bounce back from mistakes (Enterprise Leaf Press, fiction). She graduated from Brandeis University and NYU, and studied leadership coaching through Columbia Business School Executive Education.
