C. Terry Walters

C. Terry Walters was born in the beautiful college town of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Western Maryland College later renamed McDaniel College. He spent 15 years in the retail automobile business rising to part owner of a Honda dealership. The last decade of his working career was spent at a local TV station where he served as the Internet Manager.

His first book was a tribute to his lifelong obsession with baseball. Published in 2011, "Diamond Redemptions: Baseball the Way It Should Have Been" took nine baseball stories and incidents and spun them into alternate endings. The book earned a silver e-Lit award for new non-fiction sports writing.

His second effort, "Saddle Up, Charlie: Charlie Wysocki's Journey From Gridiron Glory Into Mental Illness chronicles the life of an All-American running back from the University of Maryland who arrived at the Dallas Cowboys training camp prepared to realize his lifelong dream of playing in the NFL. The debilitating effects of bi-polar disorder ended his shot with the Cowboys and almost ended his life.
