Lydia Laurenson

Lydia Laurenson has spent her career working on media, technology, and community-building. Her writing has appeared in Harvard Business Review, The Atlantic, Vice's tech publication Motherboard, and other publications.

She has spoken at Stanford, U. C. Berkeley, University of Chicago, and other universities, as well as museums like Jane Addams Hull-House Museum, and conferences like SXSW. In 2019 she launched a magazine called "The New

Modality," exploring how to create a meaningful life in this rapidly changing world. The magazine was a Kickstarter hit and has been dubbed a "Bay Area cult classic." Lydia is sometimes available for contract work with innovative media companies, think tanks, and research firms.
