I was born a sharecropper's son during the Great Depression. After Dad had a heart attack, we left the farm and moved frequently as he tried to find jobs to support the family. One of my English teachers told me I should be a writer, but I wanted to be an electronics engineer. I became a technical writer and made a living writing technical manuals the rest of my life. As I told my children and grandchildren stories about places we had been and variety of things we had done, they told me to 'write it down.' I did and created a website where they could read the stories about our lives. They asked me to put them into a book, but I was too busy being my late wife's caregiver, 24/7. After my wife died, I rewrote and reorganized the stories into two books. I am working on a third book in that series of memories. I also planned some Bible Studies and have two currently available with more in work.
