Sandra Wilde

Sandra Wilde completed her doctoral work at the University of Alberta, where she studied curriculum theorizing/philosophy. Prior to graduate work she spent several years as an elementary school teacher. Dr. Wilde is currently an independent scholar residing in Calgary, Canada and is writing her second book. Her research draws upon lived experiences in the classroom as well as Western and Eastern philosophical traditions. She believes that in order to support ethical living and a healthy sustainable world, education must foster greater wisdom, compassion, and creativity. She can be reached at: smwilde@shaw.ca
