Robert Dassanowsky

Robert Dassanowsky is CU Distinguished Professor of Film Studies + Languages and Cultures at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, Board Member of the GCAS Research Institute Dublin, and also works as an independent film producer. He has written widely on film, cine-politics and Austrian/Central European culture and arts. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society (UK), Delegate of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, and member of the European Film Academy. He was named a Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and CASE 2004 U.S. Professor of the Year, and is the recipient of the 2015 CU Thomas Jefferson Award.
