Eileen Griffin

Eileen Griffin-Ray held leadership positions in business for more than 20 years and has expertise in money matters including saving, investing, lending, retirement, as well as training, marketing, human capital and culture. Griffin-Ray was a contributing editor for Heartland Daily News, focusing on budget and tax, criminal justice, and education issues. She covered the increasing violence, rioting, and anarchy, and has reported extensively on the defund-the-police movement, soft-on-crime policies, and the consequential rise in crime. She has also researched and written on education issues and the educational choice movement. She is currently the editor of The PNW Post on Substack.

Griffin-Ray has served on advisory commissions for local governments including the village of Arlington Heights, Illinois and the city of San Diego, California. She is currently a member of the economic development committee for the city of Richland, Washington. She has worked on campaigns, political consulting, and advising projects.

Griffin-Ray earned a B.A. with a political science major from Purdue University, an M.B.A. from Point Loma Nazarene University, and a Ph.D. from Gonzaga University. Her doctoral dissertation was on leadership and decision-making, exploring power, politics, and culture. She is an author, co-author, and editor of several books. Griffin-Ray is a practitioner/scholar with a strong academic and philosophical foundation paired with hands-on, real world, practical experience in business and politics.
