About me: Excel & Power BI YouTuber for 17 years with over 1,000,000 subscribers, 23 years as professor at Highline College, 13 years as an Excel and Power BI author (5 books), and 10 years running an award-winning boomerang manufacturing company (Gel Boomerangs) with sports boomerang sales all over the world. My academic specialty is: data analysis, accounting, finance, statistics, and of course Excel & Power BI. First, as a business person, and second, as an academic, I have seen the importance of Excel and Power BI in bringing efficiencies to all aspects of a business. As a businessperson in the early 1990's I saw how Excel transformed my ability to make quantitative calculations and analyze data and in turn increase productivity and enhance business decision making. As an academic (Highline College), I have studied ceaselessly in an attempt to make complicated quantitative calculations and data analysis an effortless and joyful task.
