David Warkentin

David Warkentin was born in Winnipeg in 1981. He funded the acquisition of a bachelor's degree in English by working a maintenance job at the university he was attending.

After graduating, he found that his maintenance skills were worth far more in the real world than his book learning, so he continued to work in the field for another five years. During this time, his English degree manifested itself as his first novel, "The Horrible Cripple of Toothpick Palace," much of which was written on small bits of paper while performing menial tasks.

He has since co-authored a new interpretation of the "Tao Te Ching," as well as writing "Death by Halloween," the 1st book in his "Adventures You Choose" series. He is currently living in Toronto and working on book two.
