David George Clarke

I spent my working career as a forensic scientist, initially in England and then for twenty-eight years in Hong Kong. Retiring to Tuscany, I studied art restoration, after which, I took up full-time novel writing.

I have self-published seven books: the Dust of Centuries Series (Quincentenarian, The Delusion Gambit and Fatal Consequences); the Cotton & Silk crime thriller series (Irrefutable Evidence, Remorseless and The Cambroni Vendetta); and An Imperfect Revenge, a psychological thriller set in an abandoned villa in Tuscany.

All seven novels are also now available on Amazon in Dutch, translated by Pim Hoogeveen in Phuket.

A new title, 'A Legacy of Murder', a stand-alone thriller set in England & Australia, will be published in February 2025; while 'Ruthless', the fourth novel in the Cotton & Silk crime thriller series, will be published towards the end of 2025.

My wife, the children's book author and illustrator Gail Clarke, and I now share our time between Tuscany and Phuket.
