I am a former health care administrator who loves to travel in the US and abroad, and I especially like to visit gardens, parks, and all natural areas on my journeys. My first book, Capital Splendor-Gardens & Parks of Washington DC, includes text and photos of 32 sites. My second book, Maryland's Publiic Gardens & Parks, will take you on a journey visiting 52 sites, from the mountains of western Maryland to the coastal plains of the Eastern Shore. Beautiful photographs complement the horticultural highlights and historical narratives of each site.
