J. "Jane" K. O'Hanlon grew up in Nebraska but has lived in the Kansas City area since 1995. She attended the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and received her undergraduate and law degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. For 18 years she practiced in the areas of corporate and regulatory work for health care systems in the Kansas City area. In 2012, she left corporate law to pursue a myriad of other interests, including publishing. One interest was mixing the perfect cocktail with as much ease and simplicity as possible. Her first book, "3 Ingredient Cocktails," established her as Thirsty Jane is a must-have guide for mixology newbies and anyone setting up their first home or first home bar. Her second Thirsty Jane cocktail book is "12 Happy Hours" coming in November 2013. O'Hanlon's first venture into the erotica romance genre is "Objection Overruled," debuting from Loose Id and winning this year's best Contemporary Single Title for the Romance Writers of America®'s 2013 Golden Heart®.
