Deedra Scherm

#1 Best Selling Amazon Author, Deedra Scherm, grew up in a family with two college professor parents—one taught science, and the other taught home economics. So, her childhood was filled with things like cooking casseroles and watching films of open-heart surgeries. You could usually find her either reading her favorite children's books, running around the church, or on the stage. Later in life came a Communications Degree, and she now enjoys putting pen to paper. Her writing often revolves around what matters to her most: family, faith, food, and fun!

Currently residing in Texas with her husband, Deedra is also a mom enjoying their three teenage boys and two silly dogs. She homeschools, has been performing in theater for over four decades, and is actively involved in national advocacy...notably as the Founder of Dysgraphia Awareness Day. You can also find her in the lab creating the next thing she believes will help the people around her.

When not working on her next book, Deedra keeps it simple—she enjoys half-sweet iced tea, dinner on a patio, and movies that either make you laugh a lot, really touch your heart, or both. And she hopes that her writing will have the same effect. Enjoy!
