Steve Costello

Steve was born in the north-west of England in the early summer of 1959. He remembers nothing of the swinging sixties except wondering what he was doing in a buggy one day amidst thousands of screaming people and rather a lot of fuss about a group called The Beatles.

He is a double degree graduate with a string of post-graduate qualifications who enjoyed his work until an accident forced him to retire prematurely. With outstanding support from his family, his first book, 'Horando,' grew from the ashes of that broken career when all felt lost.

Steve lives quietly (ha, ha) with his partner and their six children in the south of France where he writes mostly fiction.

When asked, 'Will there be more from Horando?' Steve said that he was already working on other stories and didn't plan on a follow-up to Horando unless demand sent him back to that particular keyboard!

Steve's latest novel, Beyond The Pyre was published in paper and digital formats on June 30th, 2017. He has almost finished the novel to follow BTP. Both novels follow a historical fiction thread with aspects of Spirit and the tenacity of humanity to make sense from chaos.
