Having worked in the medical field of urology and emergency care for many years, I know first hand the dangers associated with the diagnosis and treatments of prostate cancer. I have watched men die needlessly due to simply following a path that was laid out before them -- a path that they should never have been on in the first place.
My initial journey of understanding this disease started more than 20 years ago when I would see patients enter the emergency room who were dying from procedures that were supposed to help heal them. This journey lead me on a quest to educate men on these dangers and how to avoid the entrapment of following a protocol that, in the end, would lead to their demise.
Specializing in the problems involved with urology also allowed me to care for men with other health issues including erectile dysfunction. My personalized approach to men's health afforded me details from patient interaction that would not have occurred with standard office visits.
My personal, humorous approach to the treatment and understanding of men's health issues is brought to light in simple terms that allows men to eliminate fear and simply get back to the basics.
