Ron Haslam

Ron Haslam born Bradford, Yorkshire 1939. Started career as Draughtsman/Estimator, studied after work for 5 years. Spent 2 years in Australia, further 12 years in England.Went to South Africa in 1982 and worked in Mining Industry, rising to position of chief Estimotor/Cost Controller until retiring in 2010 when I returned to England.No writing experience other than weekly progress reports. Wrote my first book 'Jam Tomorrer'in 2012 and followed with 6 further novels and 15 small story books for children.

I love the countryside and the small wild animals who live there.

Favourite Authors Wilbur Smith,Ludlum, Archer, Frederick Forsythe and John Grisham but will read anything interesting. I am into most sports but my biggest love is Chelsea FC. I hate corruption and cannot abide injustice of any kind.

I keep fit by walking with my wife every day, I play indoor bowls 3x per week, and work at a local charity shop.
