Marcel van Herpen

Marcel H. Van Herpen is a Russia expert, who specializes in the geopolitical developments in Eastern Europe and the post-Soviet space. He is the author of 3 books on Putin's Russia:

* Putinism - The Slow Rise of a Radical Right Regime in Russia, (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013)

* Putin's Wars - The Rise of Russia's New Imperialism, (Rowman & Littlefield, 2014) (an updated and enlarged second edition was published in 2015 with new chapters on the 'hybrid war' in Ukraine)

* Putin's Propaganda Machine - Soft Power and Russian Foreign Policy, (Rowman & Littlefield, 2015).
