J.A. Jernay brings twenty-five years of professional writing and editing experience to his stories and nonfiction. He started his career in journalism at The Washington Post, then left for Hollywood to work in feature film screenplay development. Later he entered the world of education, and eventually labored for several years as a ghostwriter, completing nearly forty different fiction and nonfiction projects.

Together with his lovely and brilliant wife, fantasy author A.J. Renwick, he splits his time between the United States and the island of Barbados.
