Mattia Bertoldi

Mattia Bertoldi writes: novels, newspaper articles, short stories, this short biography of himself. Born in 1986 in Lugano, he grew up with Robin Williams' films and graduated in Italian/English literature and linguistics in Zurich.

In 2012 he made his debut with "Ti sogno, California", published by Booksalad; in 2017 he published the novel "Le cose belle che vorrai ricordare" and two years later "Come tanti piccoli ricordi", both published by TEA/Tre60. "Il coraggio di Lilly", his first historic novel, was published by the same publisher in 2022. He has a motto: "Nulla dies sine linea".

Since 2015 he has been a committee member of the Swiss Association of Italian speaking Writers (ASSI), an association of which he became president in 2020. He has a crackling Harley-Davidson with which he reached Ireland and is always happy to get on a train to go to a bookstore or a school to talk about stories.
