Born in Hertfordshire, the oldest of two girls, Susan has always written. Blessed with a vivid imagination and an inspirational English teacher at school, she wrote short stories and poetry from the age of 12. As an adult, Susan moved first to Surrey and then to Sussex and continued writing. Richard Nightingale, the policeman in this book is a permanent fixture. Look out for more of his cases in future. Now a permanent resident of Sussex, Susan has three cats - her great love. Her other great love is husband Jim who is totally supportive of her writing and without whom these books would not have happened. Susan hopes to keep writing well into her old age (eventually).
