Carol A Peacock

Carol A. Peacock-Williams was born in Memphis, TN and now lives full time in Lihue, Hawaii on the beautiful island of Kauai with her cat, the Kauai Kitty and husband.

Carol has now completed 7 children's books, 1 adult's affirmation book and is working on a novel, a cookbook and a genealogy book with her husband about his roots from Ireland and Scotland.

As a member of the Kauai Children's Authors Guild, Carol enjoys participating in book signings and readings. Every spring she reads to many preschool class rooms of students from February 28th until school is out for summer. This literacy event is called READ ACROSS KAUAI and was started by the local Authors Guild she is a member of. She loves nature, animals, reading, writing, painting, taking photographs, ocean aerobics plus anything creative.

Carol's first book, "Benny the Beetle" was a three generational effort made up of mother, daughter, & grand daughter who all love good bedtime stories. Carol & her daughter inherited their artistic talents from Carol's mother - Bessie Merle. They are always creating some form of art project, telling stories or as the Hawaiians say - "talk story".
