Elizabeth A. Patterson

Elizabeth spent her childhood summers, running barefoot and climbing trees in the woods behind her home in the countryside of Wisconsin. She was a nature lover and spent countless hours, watching the birds flit from tree to tree.

It was during this time she began daydreaming about fairies. Years later, after reading the first Harry Potter book, she was inspired to write about the fairies, just for fun. She shared her manuscript with people she knew, and was encouraged to publish it.

"I don't know where the characters, plots and adventures came from, she says, they just came out as I began to write." After finishing her first book, she knew there was much more to the story, so she continued to write five more books, and is working on the seventh and final in the series.

Elizabeth retired after fifteen years in public service, and moved with her husband to Florida. She has two adorable chihuahuas, loves to garden, and cruises as often as she can.

Elizabeth has a new pen name, Elizabeth Rymer Patterson, and is re-publishing each book with complete editing and new covers, beginning with Bonners' Fairy, The Legend Begins, as of 2/22/2024.
