Born to a Polish mother and a German father, the author lived several years in Augsburg, Germany. She used detailed research, family history, and memories from the Bavarian town of Augsburg WWII survivors to create her fast-paced sequel "The Road To Hell". Her first novel "Life in Hitler's Crosshairs" was featured in The Catholic Lighthouse, the Contra Costa Times, the Virginia WWII Magazine, the Midwest Book Review, and the Indiana Historical Society Library.
Ms. Krail-Self was a featured speaker at the Polish Museum of America in Chicago and on various radio stations and publications throughout the country as well as featured on the marquee in times Square.
