Kelly Aul

Hi, I’m Kelly. I grew up in rural Minnesota with a close, imaginative family, where my love for stories and history began. When I first started writing, publishing felt like a vast, impassable mountain. But in 2006, I wrote my first chapter and was instantly hooked. When I wrote, I felt God’s pleasure, and I poured my heart into every handwritten novel.

Since then, I’ve written Christian Historical novels, devotionals, planners, and my personal story Rescued from Worry. I discovered how easy and affordable self‑publishing truly is, and it was too amazing to keep to myself.

In 2017, I launched Purebooks Publishing to be the bridge for others—helping authors cross from “I wish I could” to “I did.” I’ve now published over 80 books for others. Along with writing and publishing, I serve in full‑time ministry as an Associate Pastor and work part‑time as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. I’m grateful to be living my dream and helping others live theirs.
