Beth Blair

Beth Blair is an award-winning travel and lifestyle writer living in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. She is author of "The Unofficial Guide to Mall of America" (Unofficial Guides, 2016) and the international title "Break into Travel Writing" (Hodder Education, 2012 and printed in the U.S. by McGraw-Hill, 2013). Her articles have been featured in BBC Travel, Forbes Travel Guide, AAA Traveler, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, Global Traveler, St. Paul Pioneer Press, and numerous anthologies, including the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. She was the 2013 Shape Magazine Weight Loss Diarist and was named the first-place winner in the 2010 Writer's Market "Freelance Success Stories". Her co-owned travel blog The Vacation Gals (sold in 2018) won Gold in the prestigious 28th annual Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition (2012). Beth is a member of SATW (Society of American Travel Writers).
