Research Associate for the Center for Educational Excellence at the University of Tennessee, Jeanne Kling offers a unique blend of expertise and talent. Kling creates case studies about businesses that employ concepts of Vested™ to achieve amazing strategic alliances. She is the co-author of the recently published book, Vested: How P&G, McDonald's, and Microsoft are Redefining Winning in Business Relationships.
When not completing Vested projects, Kling is a Free Lance Communications Specialist who specializes in making industry speak understandable to a general audience and, also, creating effective tools to move concepts from the idea stage to influence and motivate others. A wide panoply of business, not-for-profit, and governmental agencies to facilitate change and conflict management, strategic planning, and consumer focus groups has tapped Kling’s skills.
Kling’s passion for education runs deep, having been elected to public office three times and serving as President of the Minnesota State Board of Education. She held national office as Chair of the National Healthy Schools Network (a joint venture of NASBE, National Association of State Boards of Education, and the Center for Disease Control) and Chair of the NASBE Resolutions Committee. The Business and Professional Women Association named her “Minnesota Business Woman of the Year”.
