Linda Kendall McLendon

Linda Kendall McLendon is well qualified to write a dynamic story with her extensive experience in the medical and legal worlds, plus 40 years in the equestrian business and service-oriented community outreach. As Founder and Executive Director of a therapeutic riding program, she developed grant writing skills as a means to fund the programs. Featured in numerous newspaper articles and television newscasts, including segments on Good Life TV of New York and Fox 29/TV 12, Linda was awarded American Riding Instructor Certification Program 1998 Instructor of the Year and later the horse, Black Willie Moon, was Horse of the Year.

Nominated by Soroptimist International of Stuart, Florida, for the 22nd Annual "Women of Distinction" award, Past President of Twin Rivers Saddle Club, former leader of the local 4-H Horsemanship Program, she has been a member of North American Riding for the Handicapped Associaton, the American Hippotherapy Association, Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association, and the American Riding Instructors Association.

Almost a life-long resident of South Florida, Linda enjoys her small ranch, numerous horses and critters, and a life-style far removed from the beaten path.
