J Gerard Michaels

J Gerard Michaels writes from Florida exclusively about zombies. His short stories have appeared in anthologies from ZombieNation Publishing, Post Mortem Press, and ZombieWorks Publications since 2010. He has been writing for over 5 years while maintaining a day job.

His current series, a monthly episodic adventure starring St. Petersburg detective Cord Wheaton, is a mix of humor, romance, social commentary, and of course, zombies. His locations are authentic, including real businesses and streets, though his characters are not to be confused with any real person, living, dead, or undead.
