Carlene is a native Texan, born in Houston and grew up in Pasadena. After raising her family in the area she had the opportunity to travel throughout the US and has resided in Carbondale and Christopher, IL, Denver, CO and Pine Hill, AL before settling recently in Wimberley, TX.
She has been recognized as a writer since 3rd grade with a poem about an elf.
A copy of that poem, as well as the many skits and song parodies for PTA, Camp Fire Girl, Sunday School, Lions Club, etc. programs have not been saved but the poem that got her invited to the football banquet in Jr. High when she was in 7th grade has survived.
Her first published writing is the song parody written for the Christopher,
IL Red Hat Society Club that is published in Sue Ellen Cooper's Red Hat
Society's Laugh Lines.
TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY has been developing for some time. With the help of her husband, Marvin Wold, who urged her to publish and her daughter, D'Anna
Tindal, who helped edit and designed and painted the artwork for the cover,
the result is an uplifting and entertaining experience for readers of all ages.
