Merry Brown

Merry Brown is a writer, speaker, mediator, podcast host of Conflict Managed, and ombuds at UT Martin, dedicated to aiding individuals and organizations navigate difficult conversations and conflicts. Her latest book is, "Winning the Generation Wars at Work: Making (Your) Age an Asset."

In 2021, after two decades of teaching philosophy, she made a career pivot and established Third Party Workplace Conflict Restoration Services, LLC (3P). The goal of 3P is simple: to train and empower employees and organizations to handle conflict swiftly, justly, and with a restorative, win/win mindset that treats all people with dignity and respect.

Conflict is inevitable in any workplace. However, many are unsure how to effectively address these issues. Her work centers on empowering individuals and companies to mitigate and manage conflict, transforming workplaces into spaces free of unmanaged conflicts. She aims to cultivate a culture that recognizes and addresses issues promptly and fairly.
