F. Dean Hackett

F. Dean Hackett was born in Spokane, Washington and graduated from University High School in Spokane Valley. He came to faith and received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at a Free Methodist youth camp July 3, 1964, and began preaching and singing at youth events and church meetings in October 1968. Dean has served in full time Christian ministry since October 1971, after serving four years in the United State Air Force during the Viet Nam War.

He has ministered throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, serving as pastor, conference speaker and mentor. He has planted four churches, revitalized four churches, and currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Living Faith Church in Hermiston, Oregon. He established Spirit Life Ministries International in 2001 to facilitate ministries in Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina and opened a training center for workers in those nations.

Dean has been married to Wanda fifty-one years. They have three children who are serving in full time Christian ministry. Two daughters are missionaries in Croatia and their son is on staff as Senior Associate Pastor at Living Faith Church. They have nine grandchildren.

Dr. Dean is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God, Cleveland, TN and holds a Master’s degree in Ministry, a Master’s of Theology and a Ph.D. in applied theology with an emphasis in marriage and family counseling. He has also served as an abuse counselor since 1980.
