Janet Christian

Janet Christian grew up in San Antonio and has been writing fiction since childhood, winning several awards for her imaginative short stories. Some of her work was featured in published anthologies, including the annual Half Price Books award-winning "Say Goodnight to Illiteracy".

Janet spent a long and industrious career as a professional technical writer, creating complex manuals for everything from operating systems to automotive fuel-injection systems. Janet continued writing fiction to escape the drudgery of describing hardware circuits and software routines. She also edited and published two magazines. Janet served as 2003 President of the Heart of Texas Sisters in Crime in Austin, and published her first novel in 2012. She is now retired and writing full time.

Janet and her husband Eric recently moved to a villa in the mountains of Spain, just south of Valencia on the Mediterranean coast. They, along with their four goofy dogs and two special-needs cats, are enjoying discovering everything they can about their new location.
